Lisa Parker Hyatt has been painting for over 30 years and has shown throughout the East Coast, from New York to Florida. Her paintings have been in nearly 20 solo exhibitions at galleries and museums, and over 50 group shows, juried by such individuals as critic Clement Greenberg and Whitney Museum of American Art Director Thomas N. Armstrong.

A key artist in the late 1980s resurgence of Miami art, Hyatt’s paintings were included in the traveling show The Art of Miami (Southeastern Center for Contemporary Art), as well as in a solo show at the Museum of Art, Hyatt’s work is in numerous public collections, such as those of the Museum of Modern Art , New York, NY, the Norton Museum of Art, West Palm Beach, FL, and the Museum of Art, Fort Lauderdale, FL, and her art is in the archives of the National Museum of Women in the Arts, Washington, DC.
